As our only guests, you have privacy and the run of the farm; visit the animals, relax on the patio or deck, enjoy a full farm breakfast overlooking the wildlife area, and toast marshmallows around the fire in the evenings. We are just 16 miles from downtown Eugene, 15 minutes from the airport (EUG), and 1 mile from Fern Ridge Lake, surrounded by many outstanding wineries & tasting rooms, and only a short drive to the famous Oregon coast.

We started the Gourmet Club as a way to introduce and supply wonderful foods lost in the mass markets. Our pork is humanely pasture-raised on a strict diet eliminating all antibiotics and hormones. There is simply no better pork anywhere. Our lamb is true lamb (not mutton); fed on our pastures and the hay we produce. We respect our animals and the food they provide. We invite you to join our Gourmet Club, a group interested in quality foods, sharing recipes and information. The Club members share pork, lamb, and other quality foods not available to non-members.

Birding is a popular activity and we are in the center of the local birding area. We have set aside a part of the farm as a wildlife area and we attract a great number of waterfowl as well as songbirds. You can easily view birds in our wildlife area from the comfort of the deck, or visit the nearby birding areas. Experience some of Oregon's best birding in and around Fern Ridge Lake while enjoying the comfort of the Country Suite at White Oak Farm.

When you are looking for the perfect place to celebrate a special occassion, we can accommodate smaller groups - up to 125. White Oak Farm is a great place for family get-togethers: birthdays, graduations, homecomings, reunions, and that special wedding. White Oak Farm is also a perfect place for private business meetings, luncheons and barbeques. Whether business or pleasure, we are here to meet your needs.

This farm is our later year's adventure. We established ourselves here in 2001 when we semi-retired from our profession of fine framing and art conservation (www.artfixed.com) in the San Francisco area. We spent the first years doing farm fix-up and now we are ready for you to stay in our Country Suite B&B or celebrate a special occasion. Here on the farm we do many things and have a variety of animals - most are pets. Every year we raise sheep and pigs for our gourmet club. Beginning in March, we play with the newborn lambs and in late April, we get wiener pigs. We are always pleased to share these experiences with our guests. Please do not hesitate contact us - we will be happy to talk about your expectations: what you would like to see or do during your special event or farm stay. It is our intention to make your visit as rewarding as it is to us living here year-round.
